The movie is inspired from the real life incident of Jayne Valseca, who fought all odds to get her husband freed from the manacles of wicked kidnappers, who kept him in their possession for more than 7 months. The promotion of Gun Hill Road has been going on a large scale and the latest trailers and posters, present really stunning avatars of Esai Morales.

Till now, more than three posters have been revealed, but I really loved the one, in which the actor is standing against a street wall.

The second poster showcases Esai’s character in a slightly weak condition. In this poster, a woman tries to console him, perhaps trying to relax him.

In the third one, Enrique (Esai) is standing with the entire gang and the tone of the picture is quite depressing.

But, I have to say, there is hardly any scene, where Esai isn’t looking exceptionally handsome.

In this movie, Esai will be seen as Enrique, who is an ex-criminal. Due to his criminal past and activities, he spends the life of a prisoner. After coming back home, he discovers a grand change in his wife and son.

His son, Michael has started exploring the world of physical desires. The dysfunctional life of his son shakes the street-hardened father to the core. One wrong step on his part, and he could be back in the life, he had left behind.

This is the tale of a man, who faces sweltering frustration, deep down his heart.

The theatrical release of the movie will take place on August 5th, 2011.

Grapevine has it that the noted TV actor, Esai Morales, has recently sealed the deal to star in an upcoming series called 17th Precinct.

Fans would remember the former leading man in the role of Joseph Adama, a runaway from one of the twelve colonies of Kobol, Tauran!

This actor of Puerto Rican descent had played the role of a lawyer, who also happens to be the brother of Sam Adama and the father of William Adama, in your favorite show.

And now he will be seen in director Ron Moore’s new show, 17th Precinct that is based on the lives of police officers attached to a local precinct numbered 17.

Esai Morales is another addition to the cast which is already teeming with stars from shows such as Battlestar Galactica and Caprica. The confirmed cast of the show includes Tricia Helfer, Jamie Bamber and James Callis!

Esai has been assigned to portray the role of Lt. Liam Butterfield. Joining him will be his junior officer, Detective Caolan Longstreet; a character that will be played by Jamie Bamber.

In a sharp contrast to his role on the sci-fi series Caprica; Esai Morales will be seen here assisting Eamonn Walker in the 17th Precinct of the strange fictional city of Excelsior.
